Three all-weather courts. Easy to learn. Open to everyone — locals, visitors, beginners and regulars alike.
Always played in doubles on an enclosed court. More action, more laughs, more reason to come back.
Most players get the hang of it within 20 minutes. No experience needed — just show up and play.
Beginner clinics, private lessons, social leagues, and holiday programmes for juniors and youth.
Padel is a racquet sport played in doubles on an enclosed court — about a third the size of a tennis court. The glass walls are part of the game. The ball can bounce off them, creating longer rallies, unexpected angles, and a lot of laughs.
It's the world's fastest-growing sport, played by 35 million people across 150 countries. Easy to learn, genuinely addictive, and social from the very first game.
And now it's coming to Queenstown.

Remarkables Padel Ltd was founded on a simple observation: one of New Zealand's most active, sport-loving communities — with over 400,000 international visitors a year — had no padel facility in the Southern Lakes region.
We're developing three all-weather courts at the Queenstown Events Centre in Frankton, on QLDC recreation land. Designed for the alpine environment. Built to last. Open to everyone.
We're working in partnership with Queenstown Lakes District Council to deliver a facility the whole community can be proud of.
